King Charles Bold Move Planning to Rival Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

King Charles is reportedly gearing up to overshadow Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as he takes a major step into the streaming world—this time on Amazon Prime Video.

According to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, the 76-year-old monarch is preparing to reach a global audience with his upcoming feature-length documentary, a move that puts him in direct competition with the Sussexes’ Netflix projects.

Since stepping down from their royal duties in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have built a media empire, including their high-profile Netflix deal. The couple has released multiple projects with the streaming giant, and Meghan is now set to debut her eight-part lifestyle series, “With Love, Meghan,” on March 4, 2025.

However, King Charles is making a strategic counter-move, opting to release his documentary on Amazon Prime Video, Netflix’s biggest competitor.

Fitzwilliams claims that Charles’ project will have a “wider audience” than anything the Sussexes have released, noting that the King’s focus is on spreading awareness rather than chasing ratings.

“The film will have kudos and get a wider audience because of King Charles’ involvement,” he told GB News.

The documentary is currently being filmed at Dumfries House in Scotland and will focus on the monarch’s long-standing environmental work.

“It will ‘show, not tell’ how to transform people, places, and ultimately the planet,” palace insiders revealed.

King Charles has been an advocate for environmental conservation since 1970, and this film is expected to highlight his lifelong efforts to tackle climate change and restore harmony between mankind and nature.

Despite the King’s direct involvement, sources say he will make minimal personal appearances, allowing the documentary to speak for itself.

Fitzwilliams was quick to point out that Charles’ documentary is nothing like Meghan Markle’s upcoming Netflix series, which is rumored to be a highly curated look into her luxurious lifestyle.

“Amazon Prime is making it. It isn’t a ratings chaser like Meghan’s ‘With Love, Meghan.’ There is no similarity whatsoever,” he insisted.

Unlike Meghan, who is reportedly heavily invested in securing high ratings for her show, Charles’ documentary is purely about spreading awareness—a distinction the royal expert believes gives the King’s project more credibility.

This strategic media move comes at a time when royal tensions are at an all-time high. With King Charles battling cancer, Prince Andrew facing a multi-million-pound scandal, and Prince William under immense pressure, the Royal Family has been struggling to control its public image.

Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan continue to dominate headlines, with their upcoming projects keeping them firmly in the public eye.

The King’s decision to enter the streaming world now suggests he is taking back control of the narrative, ensuring that the Royal Family is seen as a force for good—rather than just a source of controversy.

As the battle for media dominance intensifies, all eyes will be on King Charles’ Amazon Prime documentary—and whether it truly has the power to eclipse the Sussexes’ media empire.
