Speaking on her podcast, Hyde shockingly claimed, “People are hanging around in case there’s a divorce.” She went on to explain that Netflix, which has already collaborated with the couple on their controversial Harry & Meghan docuseries, would likely jump at the chance to produce content surrounding a Sussex breakup.
The journalist argued that while Netflix might maintain an appearance of working with the couple, the reality is that their true investment lies elsewhere. “They [Netflix] are not going to renew,” she stated.
“They might say we’re continuing to develop projects with them, but the reality is that a lot of people are just waiting for a divorce.”
Hyde’s comments come amid the underwhelming performance of With Love, Meghan, Markle’s highly anticipated Netflix cooking and lifestyle series.
