Avdiivka has been heavily bombed by Russian aviation for the past 24h. Ukrainians are bombed both in the north around the train station and in the east towards Kam’yanka.

North of Vodyane a Russian attack was repelled resulting in a lot of Russian destroyed (by Javelins) equipment.

In Bakhmut most of AZOM (in the north) is under Russian control. The contested area has been slightly modified. There is no confirmation of Russian control of the administrative buildings in central Bakhmut.

Zelenskyi today met with a delegation of Germany’s leading defense company Rheinmetall AG. The CEO, Armin Papperger also came to Kyiv. They spoke about the need to intensify the partnership for both the short term and long term in order to comply with the wishes of the Ukrainian forces.

Norway will hand over 12 diesel trains to Ukraine by the end of the year. “We will be able to send four of them (diesel trains) by the summer and probably 8 more during the year,” said Norwegian Transport Minister Jon-Ivar Nygård.

Japan allocated Ukraine a new package of humanitarian aid worth $470 million, writes Andriy Yermak head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine.

The government of North Macedonia has officially approved the transfer of 12 Mi-24 attack helicopters to Ukraine.
