Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Face Uncertain Future Amid 2025 Deadline
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly on the brink of a pivotal moment that could see them lose significant financial and professional opportunities by 2025. Royal commentator and expert Richard Fitzwilliams has issued stark warnings about their precarious situation.
Following their departure from royal duties, known as Megxit, the couple embarked on numerous projects, including a lucrative deal with Netflix and the launch of various initiatives under their Archewell Foundation. However, Fitzwilliams suggests that the couple’s future is far from secure.
According to a report by OK, Fitzwilliams highlighted the numerous ventures the Sussexes took on post-Megxit. These include producing content for Netflix and Meghan’s foray into the lifestyle sector with her blog, American Riviera Orchard. Despite these efforts, their accomplishments appear to be falling short of expectations.
“They are working on new programs for Netflix, and Meghan has launched her lifestyle blog, American Riviera Orchard,” Fitzwilliams said. However, he noted a critical setback: “They have lost Spotify, and rather curiously, Lemonada Media, which Meghan has joined, reportedly intends to place her podcasts on ice until next year.”
Fitzwilliams also touched on Meghan’s potential political aspirations, stating, “Nothing has come of rumors about Meghan and any political ambitions she might have.” This uncertainty adds to the challenges the couple faces in maintaining their public and financial standing.
One of the most pressing concerns is their $100 million contract with Netflix, which began shortly after they stepped back from royal duties. Fitzwilliams observed, “Since their $100 million contract with Netflix began, they have done hardly anything for it.” With the contract set to expire next year, there is speculation about Netflix’s interest in renewing it, especially since the streaming giant is no longer producing the series “The Crown,” which previously drew attention to the royal family.
“If they lost this contract, with Archewell, their business and charitable foundation, having so few donors, they might well be in financial trouble,” Fitzwilliams warned. The couple’s financial stability has heavily relied on the income generated from their media deals, primarily their revelations about royal life. Without these, they might struggle to maintain their current lifestyle and continue their charitable endeavors.

The expert emphasized the precariousness of their situation, noting, “Since their exposure of royal life has made megabucks, but little else has made money, the royal family better hope that this unpredictable and ruthlessly ambitious couple stays with Netflix.” The implication is clear: without the steady income from high-profile media deals, the Sussexes could find themselves in a challenging financial position.
The potential fallout from losing their Netflix contract could extend beyond finances. It may impact their public influence and the ability to launch future projects. Given the couple’s ambition and previous success in drawing global attention, their next moves will be closely watched by both supporters and critics.
