Amid Kate Middleton’s ongoing cancer battle , royal family has received welcome news as Mike Tindall, husband of Zara Tindall, refuted claims that the couple would be leaving England.
The former rugby champion emphasized that their “big family” firmly anchors them in the UK.
Living on Princess Anne’s estate in Gloucestershire, the Tindalls have been an integral part of the royal family’s everyday life.
Mike, 45, and Zara, 43, who married in 2011, reside at Gatcombe Park along with their three children: Mia, 10, Lena, five, and Lucas, three.
Despite their strong connection to Australia, a country they love and frequently visit, the Tindalls have decided against relocating there.
Mike addressed the rumors directly: “We go to Australia every year for the Magic Millions racing event, and we try to get back to have lunch at the place where we met whenever we can.
We love Sydney and have loads of friends there, so it’s been an important city in our lives.
Everyone keeps telling us we’re moving there but we’re not. It’s so far away, especially when you have a big family.”
Reports had previously suggested that the couple might move their family to Australia, but those plans have now been firmly dismissed.
According to the Daily Express, Mike and Zara have chosen to split their time between the UK and Australia rather than uprooting their children entirely.

A source close to the family shared, “Mike and Zara had both been toying with the idea of moving to Australia for a while but have finally reached the decision that it wouldn’t be right to uproot their family at this time.”

The monarch is believed to be particularly pleased that his niece and her family will remain in the UK, continuing to be a part of the daily royal life.
