While Beador and Janssen may not be rekindling their romance, the reality star emphasized that they are on friendly terms now, despite a period of not speaking after their breakup. She revealed that neither of them is currently dating anyone, and although they maintain a cordial relationship, it remains difficult for Beador to witness their past love unravel on television.
The couple began dating in 2019, and Beador expressed her shock and disappointment when Janssen abruptly ended their relationship earlier this year. In an interview with People, she confessed to feeling blindsided, as she had believed Janssen was the man she would spend the rest of her life with. She added that she had never loved anyone the way she loved him, but unfortunately, he did not share the same sentiments.
Their breakup occurred shortly after the conclusion of RHOC filming. As season 17 premiered, Beador found it challenging to hear her co-stars’ opinions and commentary on her relationship troubles. She specifically mentioned Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson, expressing her frustration with their involvement and gossiping about her personal life.
Beador disclosed that she had learned from a previous incident with Kirschenheiter in season 15 to avoid discussing her relationships with her co-stars. She expressed her dismay at the judgment and scrutiny from people who lack intimate knowledge of her situation, describing it as maddening to have others weigh in on her personal affairs.
In addition to discussing her former flame Janssen, Beador provided an update on her relationship with her ex-husband, David Beador, with whom she shares three daughters—Sophie, 21, and twins Stella and Adeline, 18. Despite their divorce in 2019 after 17 years of marriage, the former couple recently reunited at their children’s high school graduation. Beador expressed her hope for improved co-parenting moving forward.
While she doesn’t anticipate becoming close friends with David, Beador emphasized her commitment to doing whatever it takes for the sake of their children. She acknowledged the absence of a coparenting relationship thus far and expressed her desire to alleviate any added stress for her kids, who should not be caught in the middle of their parents’ conflicts.
Beador finalized her divorce from David in 2019. However, she surprised fans and her children by sharing a selfie with him on Instagram after a chance encounter at a restaurant. Initially intending to keep the photo private, Beador revealed that David noticed their children’s excitement and gave her permission to post it.
