King Charles Reaction After Trump’s Brutal Dig at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

King Charles III is reportedly breathing a sigh of relief after Donald Trump publicly stated that he has no intention of deporting Prince Harry from the United States. The U.S. president dismissed the idea in a recent interview, instead taking a swipe at Meghan Markle and her alleged influence over the Duke of Sussex.

In an interview with The New York Post last Friday, Donald Trump was asked whether he would take action against Prince Harry’s immigration status if he were to return to the White House.

“I don’t want to do that,” Trump responded, shutting down any speculation about deportation. However, the president did not hold back on his opinion about Meghan, adding that “I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”

His remarks come amid ongoing scrutiny over Harry’s U.S. visa, with critics questioning whether the prince received special treatment despite admitting to drug use in his memoir Spare.

Following Trump’s comments, a royal insider revealed that King Charles is feeling a sense of relief, as concerns over Harry’s future in the U.S. had added to the already strained family dynamics.

“The fact is that Harry and Meghan are a source of strain and worry for His Majesty,” a royal source told the Daily Mail.

They continued “While he is sorry that he does not have a relationship with his grandchildren in America, it is easier for his peace of mind that there’s an ocean between him and Harry.”

Since stepping down as senior royals in 2020, Harry and Meghan have built their lives in California, a move that King Charles publicly supported when he first ascended the throne.

In his first speech as monarch in 2022, Charles expressed his love for Harry and Meghan, saying “I express my love for Prince Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas.” Despite these words, tensions between Harry and his family have remained high, with little sign of reconciliation.

Trump’s remarks come at a time when Harry is facing increasing legal pressure regarding his U.S. immigration status.

The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, has launched a legal battle to force the release of Harry’s visa application, arguing that the Duke of Sussex may have violated U.S. immigration laws by failing to disclose past drug use.

In his memoir Spare, Harry openly admitted to using cocaine, marijuana, and psychedelic drugs, leading to questions about whether he was granted special treatment upon entering the U.S.

If it were revealed that Harry misrepresented his drug history, it could jeopardize his residency status, as the U.S. typically denies entry to individuals who have used illegal substances.

Although Trump has currently dismissed the idea of deporting Prince Harry, some analysts believe his stance could change if he wins the 2024 election.

Trump has previously clashed with Meghan Markle, accusing her of disrespecting the Queen and being a negative influence on Harry.

Royal watchers speculate that Trump’s personal animosity toward Meghan could still play a role in future decisions about Harry’s immigration status.

For now, Harry remains in the U.S., and King Charles is reportedly relieved that he will not be forced to return to the U.K. under Trump’s presidency—at least for now.

With ongoing legal battles over Harry’s visa and increasing public scrutiny over his relationship with Meghan, the Duke of Sussex may still face challenges in maintaining his life in America.

As the 2024 U.S. election approaches, all eyes will be on Trump and whether his future policies could impact Harry’s future in America.
