Prince Andrew Faces Final Birthday at Royal Lodge Amid King Charles Ultimatum

Prince Andrew is reportedly running out of time to secure his future at Royal Lodge as King Charles ramps up pressure for him to vacate the lavish estate.
According to GB News, the Duke of York could be celebrating his final birthday at the residence unless he takes immediate action to resolve ongoing property disputes.
The King has been urging his disgraced brother to relocate to Frogmore Cottage, a smaller royal residence formerly occupied by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The pressure comes after Charles slashed Andrew’s £1 million annual allowance in 2024, leaving him without a key source of financial support.
The funds were previously used to maintain Royal Lodge, but with the King’s decision to cut ties financially, the burden now falls entirely on Andrew.
A property expert from We Buy Any Home, Terry Fisher, warned that while Andrew may not be forcibly evicted just yet, his position at the estate is becoming increasingly precarious.
“The pressure on him to resolve the ongoing issues surrounding the property is intensifying. If he continues to delay essential renovations, his chances of staying at Royal Lodge diminish significantly,” Fisher explained.
Prince Andrew signed a 75-year lease for Royal Lodge in 2003 and currently resides there with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. However, his lease requires him to cover the costs of all renovations and repairs—a responsibility that has now become a financial strain.

Experts believe that without an influx of cash, Andrew may struggle to meet the estate’s maintenance demands.
Some reports suggest he has been privately seeking financial assistance, but so far, no major deals have been confirmed.
The Duke of York has kept a low public profile since stepping down as a working royal in 2019 following his controversial ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
However, he has made a handful of appearances with King Charles, including at the coronation on May 6, 2023.
Despite the tensions, Charles has not issued a final eviction notice yet. Instead, he appears to be giving Andrew time to handle the situation himself.
Fisher further noted, “If Andrew does not take decisive action to secure the necessary funding and complete critical repairs, it is entirely possible that this will be his final birthday at Royal Lodge.”
With his 66th birthday approaching on February 19, 2025, the next year will be crucial in determining whether Andrew will be able to remain at the Windsor estate, or if King Charles will finally force him out.
For now, all eyes are on Andrew’s next move—whether he can secure enough financial backing to hold onto his $30 million home or if Charles will finally succeed in pushing him out for good.
