Leaked Footage Emerges Ahead of GTA 6 Trailer Debut

As the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) trailer debut is just a day away, a leak has surfaced claiming to show footage from the upcoming game. The leak, posted by TikTok account ‘azzarossi,’ provides a quick panoramic view and scale of the alleged location, a fictionalized version of Miami, also known as Vice City. The video features landmarks matching a massive data leak from last year, adding some credibility to the leak.

The same TikTok user also posted a picture alongside Aaron Garbut, head of development and co-studio head at Rockstar North, fueling speculation that the leaker could be Garbut’s son. The authenticity of the footage remains unverified, but the leaked landmarks align with the information from last year’s data leak.

Rockstar Games is set to debut the first trailer for GTA 6 on December 5, and the internet is buzzing with anticipation. While the official title of the game is yet to be revealed, there are hints at a spin-off with a subtitle rather than a numbered sequel. The trailer’s release time is scheduled for 9 am ET in the US.

Despite the leaks, Rockstar has not released any official statement, and fans are urged to block keywords on social media to avoid spoilers. The game is expected to launch on current-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series S/X first, with a subsequent release on PC. Ambitious features for GTA 6 include the introduction of the first playable Latina female protagonist and an increased number of enterable indoor locations for better immersion. The game is rumored to feature a crime couple reminiscent of Bonnie and Clyde.

As fans eagerly await the trailer, Rockstar has also made changes to its logo and removed the ‘Social Club’ branding. Additionally, the studio is launching its remastered Grand Theft Auto trilogy on Netflix on December 14, featuring graphical and mechanical upgrades for subscribers.

The leak has added an extra layer of excitement to the upcoming trailer, and the gaming community is abuzz with discussions and speculations about the potential features and innovations in Grand Theft Auto 6.
