Buckingham Palace Shares Significant Update Amid Kate Middleton’s Cancer Treatment

Amidst Kate Middleton and King Charles ongoing cancer battles, Buckingham Palace has made a significant announcement regarding King Charles’s schedule as he continues his battle with cancer, following his recent appearance presenting new colors to the Irish Guards.

According to a report by Daily Mail, the palace has confirmed that King Charles is expected to attend the Garter Day service alongside Queen Camilla at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on June 17, following the Trooping the Colour ceremony.

The Order of the Garter, Britain’s oldest and most prestigious Order of Chivalry, is celebrated annually with a procession and service in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The ceremony includes a grand procession of knights, accompanied by a marching band and Officers of the Order, all dressed in ceremonial attire.

This year’s service will feature the installation of four new Companions of the Order, including the Duchess of Gloucester.

Earlier in the day, a private investiture will take place in the Garter Throne Room at the castle, where the new Companions will be invested.

Among the other three new Companions are life peer Lord Kakkar, composer Lord Lloyd-Webber, and Air Chief Marshal Lord Peach.
