Meghan Markle Delivers Fresh Snub to Royal Family with Shocking New Move

Meghan Markle has once again found herself under scrutiny, this time for her latest vision board. According to experts, her board appears to focus solely on herself, with no mention of her time as a royal.

The Duchess of Sussex recently shared a mood board for her rebranded lifestyle business, As Ever. The board was filled with notes, images, and inspirational quotes meant to showcase her vision for the future.

In the caption accompanying the post, Meghan wrote, “From memory lane to the memories I’m making today…”—a statement that has now sparked criticism.

PR expert Nick Ede claims the mood board was nothing more than a staged attempt to push a particular narrative, possibly with Netflix’s involvement. He described the entire move as “cringey.”

Ede told The Sun, “Memory Lane to her is not being part of the royal family.” His observation suggests that Meghan is distancing herself from that chapter of her life.

He also pointed out that the board fails to highlight her own family, including her children, Archie and Lilibet. Instead, it seems to focus on The Tig, her former lifestyle blog that she ran before marrying Prince Harry.

“Her Memory Lane is pictures of her and Harry and their dog that sadly passed away. But it’s very much about her life, her life with Harry, and referencing a past life when she had a brand,” Ede explained.

He argued that Meghan is trying to reconnect with her old audience—the readers of The Tig—in an attempt to reestablish herself as a lifestyle influencer.

Ede also dissected specific elements of the vision board, pointing out references to her old blog. “Some of the little notices she’s put on there about love and my bum being bigger than my heart, they’re all references back to when she was on The Tig,” he said.

He emphasized that the board seemed “very sanitized,” with little mention of her current life with Harry or her role as a mother. “It’s not really about Harry. It’s not really about the royal family. It’s not really about her family. It’s about Meghan.”

The criticism comes shortly after Meghan rebranded her lifestyle venture. Originally launched as American Riviera Orchard, the brand was quietly renamed As Ever.

While Meghan’s fans might see this as a fresh new beginning, critics argue that she is trying to rewrite her past, erasing the royal connections that once defined her global identity.

As speculation grows about Meghan’s future endeavors, one thing is clear—she is determined to craft her own narrative, royal or not.
